SAGAR SAVLA

Sagar is a Product Manager at Alphabet Research. He was a data guy at Facebook where he built stuff and break stuff (mostly break!). Before that, Sagar interned at PayPal and Lyft.

He did his Masters' in Machine Learning and Human Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech. While studying, Sagar geeked out on all things data, privacy and policy. He also digs computer security, UX and product design.

Sagar has this penchant for exploring new frontiers in technology.  After his adventures, he has the exceptional ability to explain the most complex things in a way even a child can relish the experience!

He currently lives in Zürich.

MERT SANVER

Mert Sanver is a technologist and big data expert in the Tech Industry. He has strong expertise in distributed database technologies, real time data processing, machine learning and analytical forecasting. In his current role in the Data Engineering team at Facebook, Mert provides his guidance and technical leadership to manage one of the key revenue generating product for Facebook - the Facebook Ads.

Mert has worked previously with Google and more recently with Netflix. 

Mert has published papers in the fields of large scale data management, fraud detection and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems. He has been invited speaker in various universities and has given numerous talks in international conferences.

Mert is a Stanford Alumni.

He lives in the Silicon Valley.
