Course description:
Get introduced to the Maker world through this level. Learning coding, electronics & robotics on the Micro:bit via fun projects.

We use computer programming with algorithmic design and robotics to engage students in hands-on learning of Math and Computer Science. Teaching mathematics with coding provides a unique learning experience for students. Our students learn to think with mathematical precision while interacting with fun programming concepts, puzzles, and challenges that stem from geometry, algebra, computer science and physics.

This also includes a digital citizen certification.
• Students will learn the importance of digital safety and how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats.
• Encourages students to apply digital ethic principles in their online interactions.
• Helps students understand the widespread importance of digital security in their everyday lives and equip them with skills to better protect themselves on the Internet.

Graduation criteria:
• Social skills and learning abilities appropriate for our regular classes
• Students can graduate to Level 1 or Level 2, depending on their acquired coding skills.
* Listed ages are recommended. Your child’s instructor will help you determine, if your student is ready for higher level at an earlier age.
